Longview’s Ward & Smith Adds Noted Family Law Attorney Brett F. Miller

Experienced lawyer will lead East Texas firm’s family law practice, handle civil litigation

LONGVIEW, Texas – Longview, Texas-based law firm Ward & Smith is pleased to announce the addition of distinguished attorney Brett F. Miller to lead the firm’s new family law practice and handle civil litigation matters for business and individual clients.

Mr. Miller is returning to his hometown of Longview after practicing six years in Fort Worth, where he represented a wide array of clients in family law, oil and gas, commercial, real estate, and personal injury lawsuits.

Mr. Miller’s professional honors include being named to the Texas Rising Stars list of the state’s top young lawyers published by Super Lawyers in Texas Monthly magazine. He also has been named to the Top Attorney list in Fort Worth, Texas magazine.

Mr. Miller earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance, magna cum laude, from Texas Christian University before receiving his law degree, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law.
