LONGVIEW, Texas – Three attorneys from Longview, Texas-based Ward, Smith & Hill, PLLC, have been named among the best in the state based on their work in intellectual property cases.
Firm name partners Johnny Ward and Wesley Hill were named to the 2016 Texas Super Lawyers list along with former federal Judge T. John Ward, who is of counsel at the firm.
This marks the first year that Mr. Hill has been selected to the list after multiple appearances on the Texas Rising Stars list, which honors the state’s top young attorneys. Both lists are published by the legal division of Thomson Reuters.
Earlier this year, Mr. Hill was named to the 2016 Under 40 Hot List by the legal publisher Benchmark Litigation, earning recognition as one of country’s top lawyers under the age of 40. He was one of only 29 Texas attorneys chosen for the exclusive listing.
Johnny Ward has been named to the Texas Super Lawyers list every year since its inception in 2003. T. John Ward has been selected to the annual listing every year since he retired from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in 2011.
